DAY 3

Today we started out at the Metro police training center and meat with Sgt. Lisa and Constable David for all the info they had at their new facility. It was a beautiful place and things were very interesting. First of all they do not carry fire arms and well things are well different here. They are very community centered police officers. Budget cuts are huge here and things are only getting worse or better depending on what you think. They are not hiring new people but they are hiring new training officers that pretty much are like our reserve officers. It is pretty crazy but understandable. The only thing I don’t like is that they could be doing this for three years or so until they have to money to even hire anyone. Rough life, but if that is what you want go for it. The other place we went to was the Metro Police station and was entertained by Constable Richard Watson. They showed us the ropes on how things work in their department. They are so laid back compared to us. The main saying is : “We are nice People here!”…funny…

DAY 2

So we started at Oxford and things went pretty fast and were great. There were still students studying and probably taking finals or something. Not quite sure. We had a great time and then moved on to Stratford Upon Avon and were able to see where Shakespeare lived and died. We had some food and then moved on again. We ended up at Warwick Castle and it was so beautiful. Guys, there will be video as soon as I can get it up and all of this will make sense. Plus PICTURES....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So on to the next day...need sleep.

So things have been pretty hectic. Sorry about the craziness. I am trying to keep things up but of course things don't always work out like you want them too...."RUBBISH"....
Anyway, the first day was driving to Denver and then flying to Chicago to London, very tiring. As soon as we landed we went to straight to Windsor Castle and exchanged some money and shopped around. Well I didn't shop... the exchange rate here is crazy and well I need certain things. Plus my luggage was close enough to almost being 50lb. I really don't need any more junk anyway.... :)
